Career coaching options

There are two main types of career coaching sessions:

1. Career  review:

Here we look at developing a path in your existing profession.

We discuss skills and abilities; experience and responsibilities; ongoing personal development and learning; networks, and most importantly, how to build your own personal 'brand'.
2. Career exploration:

This focuses on identifying a new career path, or for students, a path to start on. This session is heavily research-based and we work with you to help identify potential career options.

We consider the steps required to achieve your goals, the skills needed, future potential and career development, the network pathway and finally, a reality check.

Of course, the third option is a combination of both career review and career exploration.

Who can benefit from career planning and coaching?

These career planning and coaching sessions can be immensely beneficial to anyone at any level in any industry who wants a fresh look at where they are at in their career. The more you put in to each session, the more you will get out of it and that's a promise.

Professional growth and development are an ongoing part of any person's working life an careeer. It is worth it every now and then to take a breather and assess where you are and how your are doing in your chosen career.

Career review sessions generally suit:

  • New immigrants who are working in lower level roles than they are qualified for, who need help with planning and identifying possible career options in the New Zealand market place

  • New immigrants with advanced experience in their home country looking to integrate into the New Zealand work place
  • Anyone wanting to explore new opportunities from middle management through to senior executives
  • Anyone ambitious, motivated and determined to maximise their potential and explore opportunities

Phone/Skype based career coaching sessions

We have purposely designed our career coaching sessions to be as simple as possible.

Because we want to support clients in every corner of New Zealand as well as across the globe, we offer a choice of phone/Skype-based consultations or face-to-face sessions.

Depending on the package you choose, each session comprises pre-consultation material, an hour long consultation with one of our trained career coaches and follow up.

One session - $125 + GST
Additional session - $110 + GST

Package 2 – Face-to-face consultation

One session - $195 + GST
Additional session - $175 + GST
