We have created a specialist service and team, focused on supporting students and graduates in preparing the most important document outside of your degree, for entry into the work environment. If you are from a school or tertiary institution, we are happy to come to you and we regularly work with internal Careers Advisors and Counsellors to provide the best outcomes for students.
Graduate jobs are becoming harder to come by, with vacancy numbers reducing and a growing number of candidates applying for each job. This increases the competition, not only to find employment but also to secure that important initial interview! Now, more than ever, it is crucial to ensure that your CV and cover letter is relevant, professional and has that point of difference that makes you stand out from the hundreds of other applicants.
As HR and recruitment specialists we will work with you to individually tailor your CV and cover letter based on your education, skills and interests whilst focusing on that entry level job that will be the most critical first step in your new work life and ongoing career.
We can also help you prepare for the biggest interview of your life so far. Our experienced consultants will provide you with the right job market preparation and interview training skills so that you can enter the process fully informed and confident!

This is the perfect package for anyone looking at entering the work force for the first time, whether you are seeking part-time employment, an apprenticeship or an entry-level role. We can also help with scholarship and university applications where you are often required to submit a CV and a personalised letter to meet key criteria.
- You must be a school leaver or student with no work experience, this includes part-time work of more than 6 months
- This package focuses on your personality strengths, any academic, sporting or leadership achievements gained during your school and/or university years, core skills and importantly, a clear direction for your career
- If you have any practical work experience, we suggest the next package up as we can then cover off transferable skills obtained from holiday or regular part-time employment
- This package is not suitable for adult students or new immigrants with no NZ work history
Interview Coaching
Depending on what you need, we will tailor a session to suit you and your specific requirements. Our interview sessions generally include:
- Preparation prior to the interview – what you need to know
- How to make a great first impression
- Formulating examples that make you stand out and have the WOW factor
- Preparation for various interview types including role playing
- Written support material covering question styles, practice exercises and important tips
- How to deal with recruitment agencies versus direct with the Hiring Manager
- Interview follow up procedure
- Questions and answers
Package 1 – Phone or Skype consultation
Full session - $125 + GST per hour
Top up session - $60 + GST (half hour)
Package 2 – Face-to-face consultation
Full session - $195 + GST per hour

Career Guidance
Career coaching provides direction, insight and clarity. As experts in the career, human resources and recruitment fields, we are well positioned to provide you with the tools, advice and support to determine and achieve your career aspirations. We have consultants who understand the special needs and challenges facing students and graduates entering the work force for the first time so you are in safe hands!
We have purposely designed our sessions to be as simple as possible. Because we want to support clients in every corner of New Zealand, we offer a choice of phone/Skype-based consultations or face-to-face sessions. Depending on the package you choose, each session comprises pre-consultation material, an hour long consultation with one of our trained career coaches and follow up.
